Fire ?? shoulderboards, help ID please!

I think these are German, but only because someone was nice enough to write "German" on them with a pen. Picked them up cheap, but I don't know what they are or what they are worth. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

With the carmine backing, they are for the German fire services. Recently, another was posted at the below linked thread. Think I mentioned that you can find these utilized by either the Feuerschutzpolizei or the Feuerwehren.

Not very valuable due to being one of the more common ranks and limited interests in fire related servies.
