Help with rad gorget

Hey guys

I picked this up today at my local guns show from the Grand Son of a WW2 Vet. I did some research on this, and found out that there is a fake of this type of Gorget. I compared the 2, and noticed differences in look and style. What do you all think of the one I have? Is it fake? Any info would be great.

Original RAD gorgets do NOT have the coloured spade, these are plain metal with no colour

Also the "finger" on the back is supposed to slip though a button hole to help secure it in wear. That one looks much too wide, a feature often seen on the fake SA gorgets as well. Sorry

Damn! Fake??? That sure is a pretty repro!! Looks better then the originals!!

It's a definite fake, sorry. The grandson sold you a lie. They never colored the RAD emblem on the gorget, and you will never find a real gorget with DRGM marked on the reverse tab. If it says DRGM, it's a dead giveaway of a fake. The tab is also far too "fat." Like someone mentioned, the center tab went through a button hole. This one would never fit. Sorry.
