Why is it that some award documents read "Der Führer und Reichskanzler" while others only read "Der Führer"?

Has anyone done any research on this or is there a simple explanation?

The may 21st issue is Der Führer und Reichskanzler and the October 1st is Der Führer.

I am unaware why it's like this, although the Reichskanzler title was lesser used during the war, most documents he signed during the war was "Der Führer"
