Another interesting photo on German E-Bay. Looks like a faded cotton NCO's tunic with NCO tabs and officer's boards. BUT it "could" be a tan or dirty white tunic. The sleeve eagle backing is green suggesting a wool backing. Also the cap has a metal kokarde above the eagle.

Clearly, just about anything goes with police uniforms.

Very nice photo. It almost looks like the eagle has been cut with a pointed bottom to the wool base cloth.

Always remember we Germans are FRUGAL.... beside how much "un authorized " stuff did you were on your uniform...

Interesting picture...this could also be a mottled tunic and lighting at work, it happens and this is a B&W photo. Also odd how it appears like NCO collar tabs but all other, including cap, is officer grade. Availability issues?

Neat pic Bill. Reminds me a bit of this tunic worn by an officer of PB 251 during a track and field event in Norway in the early 1940s. Note the sleeve eagle on green, but the collar tabs do seem to be officer on mine.
