Got this from a MAX show walk-in on Friday. What purpose did this ID serve for the man? Clearly it did not save him from going into the Army in 1943.

Hi Dave - As you know, buying much was not in the cards for me this year. Wish you could have made it, I had a good time looking at the eye candy and sold some of my extras too.

I just posted this other ID book that I obtained from same guy. Came with an HJ armband too. An off the street walk-in believe it or not at the MAX! I didn't think that ever happened.
