Interesting but strange piece though.

certainly interesting! I'm interested in Der Stahlhelmbund (collecting it a bit), but have never seen a uniform like this.

All I can say for now is the insignia is mounted on the wrong arm (Der Stahlhelm would have them on the right arm). Insignia and buttons are original.

You say it is for children, why? To me it looks more like a work uniform or perhaps summer dress?
