Looks good and correct - white tabs are Heer Forestry, not Luftwaffe.

Btw, First time I see white tabs on forestry cloth. I'm waiting for experts. Rare if original.

Looks to be all original in the photos, one thing for sure it has the coolest tailor label name I have ever seen!

As you can see the factory of the former "Uniformfabrik Blitz" are still in Klein-Umstadt (not far away from Darmstadt) and today you can buy them:

                Forst_Spartenfarbe / Waffenfarbe colors

To correct an error - Grey is Gemeindenforstwirtschaft. Community Forestry Service, not Army.

Black is Wehrmactforstdient (Armed Forces Forestry Service

Brown is Privateforst (Private Forestry Service)

                Green is Landforst (State Forestry)

The rank of collar tabs do not match the shoulder boards.

                  Diane,

So is the actual background color on the tabs and boards grey? Does that also explain the absence of any eagle insignia sleeve or chest?

                    Hi Richard,
generally none of the forestry service branches wore the breast eagle except the military branches of Heer and Luftwaffe.
Personel from the civilian forestry sometimes (during the war) was attached to the military and then they sometimes had a breast eagle.

Diane is right collar tabs and boards are not the same rank and sure the "Waffenfarbe" is grey.

Do You have a photo of the back?
Could be that someone "upgraded" a WG post-war tunic ( this would explain the not matching insignia).

                    Regards
                    Stefany

                            James,
do You have a pic of the back of the tunic ?
TR period tunics have two buttons at the back and the old typical " Rockschnitt".
                            Regards
