Political Eagle?

This has been offered to me as a political eagle, I have no idea but it looks wrong to me.

Can I get some advice on whether it is a fake and also what it is suposed to be.

yes it doesn't look right.... swastika looks a bit thin, and the mounting prongs are incorrect

It's meant to be a Tropical Pith Helmet Eagle but this one is a reproduction.
They are also sometimes marked with GB for Gustav Barre.

Yes, it's supposed to be a tropical eagle for a pith helmet but it's a rather bad forgery.
I've actually seen a few of them attached to visor's which looks really dumb cause of the size.

Jon, because of the large size of the eagle insignia, they were later changed into the 2 shield format.
