    I know nothing of headgear at all but I do have a few period books on the DJ, to the question of headgear for the Falconry I can add these two pages from one of my books, without knowing or understanding the German language very well, I'll post in the hope that the two paragraphs can be translated by one of our German members and it will be of some use to you.
    From what little I do know I believe these paragraphs describe the differences you would expect to find regarding the plumes and badges on the caps of the Falconry association members with regard to their rank. I'm not sure if it goes into too much detail of the actual cap/visor and my apologies if I have muddied the waters in this thread.

      Hi all,
      falconry had the same uniform as the Reichsbund DJ with only different rank insignia on the collar and sleeve patches.
      The genaral sleeve patch depicted a silver falcon within a silver wreath and silver swastika. This all in front of a rising sun in gold. The band with DFO also in gold.
      This is how I have it in mind from a photo I have seen years ago.

      I have to say that I have never seen an original of this patch which I could inspect and the description in the regulation is a bit vague how it really looked like.

                Stefany, great examples--those Private Forst are very rare--I still have yet to see a visor for sale with that insignia.

                              Could it be that it was once a forestry cap?
                              The buttons and also the "soft" leather visor are conform to the 1934 forestry regulation.
                              Is the colour of the body more greenish or grey?

                              DJ had a silver/ green cord for officials.
