Stefany had a great idea that we have a thread devoted to Forst headgear. I checked the other forums, and it does not look like one was ever done, so one is overdue.

Lets make it broad--any era (Kaiserreich/Weimar/TR/DDR/BRD), and any style, whether M-43, visor, Schiffchen, etc. It can also be a related organisation, such as Jagerschaft, Forstschutzkommando, Falconry, etc. Feel free to post away!

No, I did not get that one. I was bidding on it at an auction and he got a little past my budget at the end. Two others seemed to want it bad.

really nice caps.
I would really like to add some of my collection, but as I have neither a host nor am I an A. Member it is a problem.

One thing: can everyone post a view of the inside of his headgear?
My intention, when I proposed a thread on forestry headgear, was to make something like a guide for collectors ( what to look for when inspecting so-called "Originals").
