It has now been established that some female members of the Kriminalpolizei were also issued Dienstausweis.
Here is an exceptionally rare 1944 Kripo Dienstausweis Type C, issued to a female member of the Kripo in Wien.Attached FilesLast edited by Dave Cameron; 04-22-2011, 07:38 AM.

Beyond Stunning.
This has to be one of the rarest - if not thee rarest - of all the 1933-1945 German Police IDs and unquestionably one of the rarest to ever be posted here on the WAF.

The design of the cards went through yet more changes mid 1944 and early 1945.
Not only do we now see the Gem. Kripo furnished with a "Staatliche Kripo" style card complete with green stripe but we also see a lot of new designs concurrent with the change of several Stapostelle to either IdS, BdS or KdS.
Here is an extremely rare style card to a very senior Gestapo official, Josef Auinger. There are currently only 4 of this style card known to have survived.
Jul - Oct 1942 - Auinger served as the Führer, Sonderkommando 7b, Einsatzgruppe B. Whilst under his command, 16.8 42 - 31.8.42: murder of 63 people, including 10 Jews, 48 Gypsies, 4 KP officials and 1 mentally ill. 1.9.42 - 15.9.42: murder of 46 Gypsies, 3 Communists, 13 mentally ill.
Auinger served in the Gestapo in St Pölten, Wien, Salzburg, Linz, Prag, Budapest and the RSHA.Attached FilesLast edited by SiPo; 10-02-2018, 10:47 AM.
