RSHA Weapon Manuals

We know what kind of pistols they used, but not much is said about the manuals issued to units of the SIPO/RSHA to help them take care of their equipment.

By order of the RFSS and Chief of the German Police on March 25, 1938 (before the creation of the RSHA), manuals produced for the Ordnungspolizei were issued to units of the Hauptamt Sicherheitspolizei. These manuals were:

PDV 14 "Die Pistolen 7.65mm der Polizei" produced in 1938 was issued to the Fuhrerschule der Sicherheitspolizei, the Reichs Kriminalpolizei-Amt, Reichs Kriminalpolizei Leitstellen, Reichs Kriminalpolizei Stellen, Kripo Abteilungen d. Staatl. Polizei Verwaltungen, the Geheime Staatspolizei Amt, Staatspolizei Leitstellen, and Staatspolizei Stellen.

PDV 15 "Die Machinepistole 18I" was also produced in 1938 but only issued to the Geheime Staatspolizei Amt.

I learned from the master out in Ft.Collins. I pulled out the 30 year old red velour scrap and tossed the checkered table cloth.
