POLICE early Prussian? Greatcoat, transitional.

Hi guys, just wanted to check what exactly this is. I thought at first it was transitional Schutzpolizei from Prussia, but the coat is actually black, I think and not dark blue. Boards are period applied, but it's obviously an earlier coat. Buttons are smooth mirror silver finish. Cut for sword hanger. Anyone know?

That´s not a Prussian Police coat Gerard.

They should be blue and most will show a green piping (or green collars for officers); see this example

Due to cutting (collar fastener, straight pockets, strip tie) it looks as pre-ww2 Austrian or (discoloured) pre-ww2 Czechoslovakian coat...
It seems there are marks of patches on collar... Smooth silver buttons?
Most likely Austrian police coat used after annexation...
