Another Mottled Police Sidecap Found

Just got in another one of these caps, and it is identical in cut, construction and style to the previous two. The liner is a slightly lighter shade of cotton, but the outside mottled green material and eagle are identical.

I think it's noteworthy it is made by the same manufacturer as my other two, and produced in the same year. I would speculate a limited contract was let for these caps.

Identical manufacturers stamp and size font. I wonder if these were made in any other year?

Another one! Same source or other? Seems like I may have seen one of your old caps for sale somewhere, although I forget where offhand. Link to the old thread is below.

Dave, this is from a completely different source, the last one being an estate auction. I did let one of the caps from the linked thread go, and don't know what happened to it after that.

I really like these caps, though. Seems only one maker and one year of manufacture (so far!).
