Does anyone have a Police Sleeve Eagle for Werl in NRW?

I just check good, bad and unknown of all examples I've saved images of over many years and no Werl.

Thanks, It was a fairly small Dorf and may have fallen under Soest

Depending on the size, it may not have even had a Gemeindepolizei presence. It would have been policed by the Gendarmerie of the particular Kreis inwhich it was located.

Like Joe said, the tow could have been so small to not even had a GemPo presence, which would be a tough insignia to find if it did exist since we see so very few original examples of GemPo. Would you have any idea of the war-time population? All I find with a quick search is more recent census data that indicate a population of 32K+ in 2005. Just to cover my basis, I checked all insignia & uniforms (Schupo, Gendarmerie, GemPo, FSP, FW, etc.) that I saved images of for Werl and Soest w/o any luck. Anyhow, Werl's prison certainly has an interesting history.
