Ukrainian Police photos

Came across these pics and would like to share them with you. Can anybody tell me if the black caps are old panzer caps or perhaps locally made pieces?
Note the Ostvolker medals and General Gouvenrment cufftitle.

The men in the middle appears to be wearing gray SD tunic:

4 great photos at top of page, but are they of the auxilary police in the Reichkommissariat Ukraine or

Galician police (Polish generalgovernment ) ? Galician police usually in Polish dark blue uniforms, red collar patches.

Hi John,

From what I gathered, these photos appear to be of " Volyn" Self-Defence battalion. This was an auxillary formation formed in the terrytory of Reichskomissariat Ukraine. With time the unit went under control of SD and became 31st bat. SD.
