    Fire Police Fire Fighting gear

    Hello Gentlemen,

Here are two different types of axes known to have been used by WW2 Fire Police Fire Fighting units.

I have just purchased the first example along with its ultra-rare Fireman's belt.

Has anyone seen any other types of this short style axe.

    Enjoy!
    Vince

    Vince,

There are several styles of dress axe that were worn suspended from rings. The two duty axes that you have shown are the two styles I am most familiar with.

      Hello,
By chance do you have any photos of additional Fire Fighting equiptment? I am finding this a bit interesting as I have just purchased the first axe and the big belt!

      My best,
      Vince

Hello Vince these type of belts were also used for quite a while after 1933.
