NSFK Any good??

IMO they're all copies--the fire cross from the late 70s/early 80s. The NSFK badge has less detail to the figure and the enamel doesn't look right to me; the HJ golden sport badge looks like it's a casting--there are numerous pits to the flat surfaces, and the RZM markings are very unclear and, it appears, shallow.

I'm sure you are already aware that some of these enameled oval NSFK badges are fantasy pieces. The fakes are obvious once you have seen a couple..

Because of the color of the enamel and the obvious quality of construction, plus the maker and pin configuration, I believe yours is an original .. It is identical to other known originals that I have seen. For me, the enamel says it all. The face of the Icarus is lacking detail due to wear.

Many people, when they see these, just say they are fakes... These people are wrong .. The badge on my avatar, is a Saalflugmodelle badge, a known original.
