Police Dress Bayonet question

Hello my friends,

Can anyone tell me if this is a correct troddel to be worn on a Police Dress Bayonet? If not what is it?

Wrong knot I am afraid. This is a Faustriemen for a Heer (green strap) or Luftwaffe (grey strap) NCO. The Polizei Portepee is different and you should be able to find it with a forum search of Police knot or Polizei Portepee.

As noted above, it's the wrong knot for that police bayonet. Here are some that are sort of visible and they are just like the one Billy pictured.

So, is the bayonet property marked for the rural police?

What types of markings are you referring to and where should they be located? There are no markings on the bayonet itself except the makers mark.



What should a nice troddel cost? Anyone have an extra one?
