Medal Bar for Wear on Dress tunic?

Hello Gentlemen,

Until I can locate a 7 medal bar with a Police Long Service medal on it, would this one work?

As an OberstLt. of the Schutzpolizei, could he be found to be wearing a medal bar like this?

I would appreciate anyones help to locate a nice medal bar to fit this bill!

Hello,

In my opinion your medal bar is fine. Any WW1 bar is good and with a WW2 war service cross w/o swords, very appropriate. The luftschutz medal is often seen on police bars. You can assume your SchuPo colonel was assigned to supervise Luftschutzpolizei for want of a better explanation.. Of course to have reached such a high rank a service medal would be appropriate. Weitze has 5 or six bars on his site at present. I'm not shilling for him, but if you are looking for a bar he has some.
