This cap is an enlisted Gendarmerie cap that has been upgraded with officer cords. This is possible for Meister rank. The cords do not appear original to the cap to me as they are much too short to fit properly. I hope this helps.

I concur with Schupo's comments above. Anything under the band and does it have holes in the front from part insignia attachments?
