The piece you posted is (or in this case trying to be) a medal for special cultural achievements for the city of Danzig. They show up from time to time on ebay but the real ones have a different reverse. Cant post pics here but if you have Detlev's catalogue its pictured there on page 183.

In my opinion the medal you posted is NOT original example of this award- the details are not as sharp as they should be, the obverse is completely different from known originals. As I said before they show up quite frequently on ebay.
