Police Cap Eagle

im thinking of picking up this bunch of goddies.the iab is a good one i know.

what about the police eagle? I am not familiar with cap insignia.its zinc right?

what sort of headgear did these badges go on>? sorry but i really know very little about the Police.

Hi Dave,

The police cap badge is an original. This type would have been worn on EM and NCO, schirmmuetze, bergmuetze, and einheitsfeldmuetze. Senior NCOs and Officers wore the same badge, but of a higher quality, detail and occasionally of a two piece design.
