Panzer Police Officers Eagle?

Hi Guys just got this in today from a vet estate , is this a Panzer Police Officers eagle or some other branch?

Safe assumtion is Feuerwehren (fire department/brigade) officer related, see the below linked thread for a couple of other like examples posted by Bill U. and I. When it comes to Pol Panzer officer grade photos, there is a void that needs to be filled to better support the use of a silver swastika vs. black used for other police branches. To me it would make sense to contrast from the black wrap cloth, although I'd really like to see the supporting photo evidence. At the moment I'm away from my home PC so I'll have to review saved photos since I didn't find a previous officer photo post here.

I see you have a similar one in your own collection.So I think you are saying this could be a Panzer officer however so far nobody has any photographic evidence of one being worn to back this up.

So basically at this point we just do not know either way, is this correct?

The badge is backed in Black and not dark blue and the veteran served with British XXX corps who were armoured.The other items which came with it although common were all military and not civil.

Before I added my post I had a good search of the forum and I'm sure I found a photo of a seated Police Panzer officer with the same eagle, but now I can't find it I'm sure it's not my mind playing tricks on me.

I'd really like this to be Panzer ,not because it would be scarcer but if it was Panzer I would keep it for my own collection.

Thanks Michael I think I will keep it for the moment until I can find out more but if it is definitely not panzer I will probably move it on at a later date
