    heres a few more ill post more this weekend when i have the time-

    this one is actually a published still taken from a newsreel footage showing RAD men helping defend agaist a russian armor attack in 1942-1200 RAD men took part in that action,i have the newsreel footage,if i can ever figure out how to put it on you-tube ill post it for everyone to see

                    This is a very interesting topic! I love the awards presentation photo! What is the highest combat award that you know of being awarded to a member of the RAD? An EK1? DKiG?

                    Also, some of these photos show that most of the RAD members were mere boys! Some look under the age of 16!

                      Paul here is a link to a thread we had about RAD KC winners,http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...=RAD+KC&page=2 it seems there was one man who recieved it late in the war serving in one of the 4 RAD combat divisions.

                                Fozz that is a great photo,ive been meaning to post that pic in the Pz forum and see what unit the tank was from.It makes me wonder if that RAD unit was caught in Stalingrad as well (in 10 years of collecting ive only seen one photo (PK) of RAD men that are suppose to be in stalingrad and i posted that earlier in the thread.)

                                Ill post some more RAD in russia photos this weekend when i have time.when im done with my PK / published photos ill post my private photos.(i snagged a great RAD in russia off the e-stand recently!)
