Three Cool Police Eagles...

Arrived today. Noteworthy is the traffic police and mottled city piece, both from the same city area. The traffic police is boxier than others I've seen, but is made on the white cotton denim as others. The chest is made of a series of diamonds, instead of the chevron-type weave, and is an unusually high relief embroidery, which I think was more common to the patches embroidered on cotton.

Glad to someone is finding all the insignia! That boxier traffic eagle appears to be a known pattern that's been seen posted here before, only in other branch colors. I only have it in Schupo.

Dave, we haven't found it all yet - and thank God for that. The hunt is easily half the fun!

Bill, great looking bird. There's more commonalities than differences, in my opinion: underwing fletching, body diamonds, head shape, tightness and most detail on the wreath, and certainly the base cloth shape. Thanks for sharing yours, and taking the time to stick them together for comparision.
