I have had this item for probably 30 years, but I recently searched this forum, and it appears to be consistent with known fakes. Please provide your expert opinions. Thanks.

Hi Matt,

Unfortunately it does appear to be another of the known reproductions. These came in a variety of colors, even more than was ever produced, and some also included various major city names. If you ran across that thread Bill Unland started (linked below) on repros, it should be well covered.

Thanks for your observations. I did view that thread, and there is one almost exactly like mine in the fakes display. This sleeve eagle was given to me, so at least I am not out any money. Another lesson learned.
