Gerd, those are wonderful and I agree with you on the amazing amount of eagle detail!! Very Very nice, you certainly have an eye for choice material! Doesn't it make you wonder what 2009 will bring your way...or do you have something in the works?!Interested in the Gendarmerie - Schutzpolizei - Gemeinden - Feuerschutzpolizei - Wasserschutzpolizei - Etc. Doug,
Wow, yet another white Schupo visor, it is very attractive.
Dave,
Is that a motorcycle lic. plate? Very nice and the first one I've seen with the red Landkreis disc still attached. Does the "IK" stand for a district or city? If it happens to be Police, I've got a Polizei licenses plate reference list somewhere.
Gerd,
Those plates are beautiful, but what are they? They are in wonderful condition .

Commemorative gifts/presents manufactured by KPM (Koeniglich preussische Porzellanmanufaktur zu Berlin) presented to some exhibitors during the (great) Police exhibition 1926 in Berlin.
Dono for sure, but some other variants were just for a commercial sale at the show.

I'm not all that familiar with plates and use, although I think this maybe motorcycle related. After you posted the question, I went and compared disc size with some loose examples I have and it's actually the smaller size.
Unfortunately not police. Below is a thread where the plate was previously posted and JoeW added some valuable information.

Where's your Pol plate reference from?
