What really surprises me in terms of condition, is the silver finish remaining to the TeNo emblem. Mirror-bright.

I agree, that bright silver finish caught my eye right away! Very nice!

The 1919 TeNo Honor Badge (Ehrenzeichen der Technichen Nothilfe) seems to be the hardest of the 5 years of TN HB's to find - and yours is the nicest that I have seen.

The TN numbering system still has us baffled though! Here is an HB for a TN Mann who joined in the 1st year (1919) - yet the HB ID # is in the 3,xxx range! Go figure that one out?

We know that the HB number was NOT the same as the Mitglied (?sp) TN permanent Membership number - but not too much more. References give the number of about 5,500 as the total number of TeNo Honor Badges which were awarded. Superb example! Thanks for sharing! ..... Dave/dblmed

Well I now have this badge in my hand and I can testify that it is even better than the pictures show. It has a nice new home in Lancashire but sadly it's "1923" brother is now being evicted!

You only need the 1920, 1921 and 1922.........

The 1922's "Seem" to be the easiest to locate (and most reasonably priced) -
