I really like these awards, maybe undervalued and under appreciated by the majority of collectors but there is no denying the beauty of these appealing little awards and they're growing on me with every one that comes to my door - so lets see yours.............

Here is my half-size miniature on a broach pin which was strictly against regulations.

The cross and case it came in were probably a "Mother's Day" present.

Here's mine framed for display. UV/ non glare glass, double matted in matching blue and gold. (Pics are also posted in another thread. I didn't see this one first)

I saw the other thread Brad, thank you for posting this display, it looks really impressive and has given me some ideas for when I get my Mothers Cross collection framed.
Alex, they are laid out well, any chance of a shot of the whole frame? Have you thought about displaying the ribbons, envelopes etc with the crosses?

Thank you. The cross and document are two different classes, but they look good together and thats how I received them from the family...so I said "what the heck".

The document is for a bronze class and the medal looks like a bronze so I would say they belong together.

The picture looks kind of bronze, but it's very gold when you can actually look at it. I had to get pics from some weird angles and light because of the type of glass. Sorry about that. I have a bronze and silver as well. When you lay the bronze next to this one, it's obvious.

Hi Adrian, this is the best I can do, I think with a suitable border frames them up well

There was a nice tiny MC in silver on todays Detlev update. Only 9 milimeters (!)
