Thanks for looking, and I would encourage anyone having other examples to share to please add to this post.

Bill, interesting eagle and discussed many times before. Just wanted to note that I believe it to be original but not for an NCO but for a WSP Officer. Officers were entitled to wear the oversized cap-eagle; nco's wore the standard size.

As you can see in the picture of my non-regulation WSP-NCO-bullion-cap eagle, still attached to the cap, is that if an NCO would wear Bullion it could be done in standard size.

That is why I believe your oversized eagle to be Officers. Size does matter

Okay, I can't let you guys have all the fun. So I'll meekly submit my only two bullion pieces. Heck I paid enough for them to be proud of these darlings.

Dave, That white one is awesome, not only because of knowing that it is attached to the original uniform.

Thanks Ernst! What's also awesome, to me anyway, is that it's attributed to an officer and it came with several other effects of his. A great history project!

                            Dear Ernst,

That eagle in post #30 is quite impressive. The hidden stitching is not often seen. A professional application to be sure.

                            Dave and Andrew,

Really sharp looking birds. The shiny bullion accents really add "bling" (God I hate that term) to these eagles.

                            Regards,
                            Bill U

                                Dave,

Very nice. A REAL crest headed eagle. This is the type the Pakistanis like to copy, but yours is a really nice original. Thanks for posting.

                                Regards,
