They started in the early 1890ies to crossbreed this new style of dogs. The dogs body style is very different to the shepards you see today.

Yes, Reichsrevolver 83, Karabiner 88 and Seitengewehr für Gendarmerie (Prussian flag-bearer bayo) were standard arms for all non mounted Landgendarmen

177 Euro for this photo!

I passed on it and saved a lot of cash..........

In my collection are already some other photos of this officer. He is Johannes Krussow, officer of the Schutzmannschaft Berlin. I´m sure the unknown ebay buyer has a lot of spare money, but no clue about this guy .
