This one surprised me!

Thought I bought another Prussian Landgendarm.......what I got a very rare Gendarm of the

Landgendarmeriekorps Herzogtum Braunschweig (pre 1918 style)

The town Wolfenbuettel, no digit on the shoulder board and the officers collar button makes the difference (which shows such a horse on it)
