    Eagle Variation with script name

    Hello,

Although Gary may have examples in his extensive inventory, this is the first original eagle I have run across with a written script town name. I have seen chain stitched names before, but always in seperate letters, not a running script as shown here.

Once again, this shows that the "regulations" were very liberally interpreted when it comes to police insignia.

    Regards,
    Bill Unland

Your 100% correct, it is Spiesheim. It's a small rural town in Rheinland Pfalz. Beautiful area & a great wine region !!!!!!!!

The lettering on your bird is a work of art !!!!!!!
