nick, I have to disagree about a large amount of fakes out there on this cuff-title. most people believe this because this particular cuff-title is the most common and seen up for sale the most. they also always (and should ) look very minty. this is because although they were authorized and produced for the sole rank of oberzugfuhrer they were never issued. the bahnschutz used a band for gruppenfuhrer to oberzugfuhrer that had aluminum wire letters on black cloth background with a 4mm aluminum border. the reason you see these up for sale often is a large stash of these was found in koln germany about ten years ago.

Shoulder boards are 100 percent post war BRD Bahnschutzpolizei - missing number and gray underlay on black one is significant. See
http://www.tenzor.cz/lbsr/dr/uf/sch_pol-wchtm.html
The second thing is "meister" form of shoulder boards. In reputable sources (B.L. Davis, Uniformen-Markt) are not these shoulder boards shown. In rank chart http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=255988 aren't these shoulder boards shown too.
I personally don't believe that these "meister" shoulder boards were used in TR BzpLast edited by lbsr; 01-16-2008, 02:18 PM.

Thanks for the comments guys! I'll go ahead and replace the meister boards with a war time (lower) rank!
The eagle is 100% and the cuff title is 100%, I have no doubts about those
and actually even the shoulder boards are not repro... just not WW2
(I did not pay a "WW2" price for these shoulder boards so no harm done!)
Here is the whole range of cuff titles including mine, borrowed from a Polish web site!
I appreciate the input!Attached Files
