These don't show up too often for sure! The Decal is a unique TeNo Style.

Yes, I say 'Combat' - since the TeNo followed closed behind the advance of the Heer and Waffen-SS, in restoring damaged vital services. (Like repairing / rebuilding the
bridges, restoring power & water, and other vital functions.)

The Technische Nothilfe was authorized the right to bear arms / carry weapons - as of
1939 - and they needed them! On the Eastern Front .....there was a 'real' Front Line & anti-Partisan warfare ALL behind it. .....Txs, Dave/dblmed

TENO Brocade

Interesting thread. Here is a very rare and beautiful brocade that I am fortunate to have in my collection. The brocade was introduced in 1940 where ranking officers of Kameradeschaftsfuhrer through Besirksfuhrer were to wear with their dress uniforms. It is 45mm wide with aluminum facing and 2 dark blue 5mm horizontal stripes. The backing was of dark blue wool. When not in dress uniform the officers were to where their claw buckle with shoulder strap. Please enjoy the photos.
