Any Polizei Sahariana tropical tunics to share?

POlizei Sahariana

I finally found a picture of a Polizei trooper in a WaffenSS type Sahariana tunic. Note cap with Polizei insignia and Polizei officer's belt buckle.
This image came out of one of Mike Beaver's Waffen SS books, so that's where the credit goes. The caption in the book also states its a polizei official and further mentions "this is not surprising, (the uniform mix) considering the administrative connection between the Police and SS". I cropped it... but in the original image you can see the Polizei officer holding a leash with a German Shephard dog!
Any other pictures to share of Polizei Sahariana tunics or better yet actual tunics to share? Anybody? Thanks

This is the same fellow shown in the Munoz book that I mentioned earlier. It is a different shot so it must be from the same photo album or roll of film.

Thanks for confirming! Munoz' book is on my wish list! There are 2 volumes actually if I'm not mistaken. Nick

There are two volumes of the Munoz books on "Hitler's Green Army." He is very good at tracking units, order of battle stuff etc but he has some problems with proof-reading and errors, so take the information with a grain of salt. He also shows some fake insignia in the color plates but the period b/w photographs are very nice. You can generally pick the books up on ebay somewhat cheaper than you can retail on the Axis Europa website or catalog if you are patient.

That's a different thing...we are talking about SS sahariana tunics not LW-DAK style tropical shirts.
I also have on my archive few pictures of Polizei with tropical shirts, they are not that rare.
