Today came another helmet with a schuma Decals (left), found in Latvia.
They are both Dutch? Visually, they have some differences.

      Neat Shuma Helmets ...

I've seen a few other repurposed Dutch helmets with Shuma decals and feel that these are period used pieces. The Shuma seemed to get the left over / hand me down uniforms, so it's not really surprising that repurposed Dutch helmets were found. They got new special collar tabs and sleeve Eagles, but the rest of their uniforms was a mis-mash of different types.

This is a great image. I acquired a pair of these collar tabs along with other foreign volunteer related Insignia and was trying to figure out what they were for. Now I know.

This is very interesting. Did anyone know that they're wearing Zoll / Customs service collar tabs!

Regarding the posted collar tabs. They definitely look original, but I am not sure if they belong to Schuma. Seeing the green piping, my first guess would be field made Azerbaijan, but can also be some German para-military service branch I am not aware of. Are there any photos of Schuma wearing such tabs?

Regarding the Schuma with Zoll tabs - yes, this was Baltic Zoll Schutzmanschafts, note the boards with lower swasticas - very specific to those Baltic units.

                Mottled green SCHUMA police cap

This is a field cap made of the police mottled-green material. The cap is unmarked with the exception of a size stamp.
The cap badge is hand sewn to the front as are two (decorative) silver buttons.

I very recently bought a Schuma dogtag from Schutzmannschaft Bataillon 64 (weißruthenische). The tag reads:

                  wr. Schutzm.-F. - batl. 64
                  nr. 326 fr.

                  (Weißruthenische Schutzmannschaft-Front-Bataillon 64/ nr. 326 freiwillige).

Earlier in this thread I noticed that Dave/dblmed has shown a tag of the exact same unit! I post his old picture for comparison and I hope he does not mind. A very interesting Schuma unit that used to form Schutzmannschaft-Brigade Siegling in July 1944 which in turn formed 30. Waffen-Grenadier-Division der SS in August. It was send to France the same month where it suffered from mutinees and desertions but also put up a brave fight with the allies.

And another one. I understand now that a bunch of them was found in Poland a decade ago.
