This is a badge of the 50th anniversary of the “Deutsche Versuchsanstalt für Handfeuerwaffen” (nowadays DEVA - German testing institute for small arms).

I haven’t seen this before. Normally, I’m very, very sceptical when it comes to enamelled badges (I never would buy the notorious “Ostpreußen” badge), but this one seems to be real. Diameter is 3 cm or 1 3/16”.

Just to give an imagination of the size, here’s a photo showing the new badge together with the shooting award (Plakette) of the 50th anniversary of the DEVA.

Hi Martin, congrats on your new badge. Have to say I have only seen one wither, I believe a previous Weitze offering. Pictures attached. Whenever a enamel badge comes up I also become skeptical. Although this one appears a lot better overall in quality and more involved in construction.

Yes, right. But not only in Serbia – in Greece too. Received this Wehrmacht Jagdschein for Greece recently. Note the different hunting seasons for Crete (Kreta).
