You're in the correct forum, but I think musical instruments are an uncommon occurance in collecting and not much is known about them. What makes you write that it was reissued to the DJ/HJ? Is there a marking not visible in the photos. Looks like a standard horn used by the SA or NSDAP. I have seen these every once in awhile for sale in the $300 to $500 range. Can't remember if one was available at the SOS in February. What does the placque behind the Wunderlich plate read?

            thanks for your reply.

its a bugle offcourse and not a trumpet
the other plate have the inscription , JUGENDHORN,
so that make me think its used by the DJ/HJ.

            kind regards

C.A. Wunderlich wasn't the maker of the youth hornet but a marketing company for music instruments from 1854 till 1945.

The style of the horn is somewhat different than the standard. What is the length? And is it possible to see a few additional photos--the other side of the bugle would be good to see. Jugendhorn is probably the model rather than any reflection of its intended use.

                  hello Erich

the length is about 29 cm.
so you mean that jugendhorn has nothing to do with HJ/DJ.
                  so its a SA bugle.

                  thanks
