      Hello Andre,
      Nice original badge!

Unfortunately the back has been repaired at some time which is noticable by the centre part of the badge having come off and been re-attached slightly off centre.

      Cheers,
      Brett

Friends I have a question. There is a small shift on the badge .On the many badges the letter "A" is exact on the center of the wreath. Are there opinions? Thanks.

          Andre,
I just mentioned in my previous post about the centre being slightly off ....

This badge has been repaired on the back and I believe the centre has come off due to the heat being used for the repair. It has been re-attached slightly off centre.

Robin Lumsden has said that some of these badges were manufactured with the centre being slightly off so it may have even originally been manfactured like that.

If you are happy with it then by all means buy it, or you can wait until a better one comes along.

          Cheers,
          Brett

Dear friend, thanks for the answer. How do you think, what is the real price of this badge?

Here in the US the 30mm badges go for 2000.00 and up.

                  Gpb

This was a Helmut Weitze piece, good example of of a worn GPB and early member/follower.The owner would have been an ardent early Nazi possibly around on the night of the paty's re-establishment in Feb.1925

Nice original, early pattern GPB...in my opinion.

Low numbers usually command a higher price. However, this is offset by the horrible repair job.

Now, if you can trace it back to someone notable, it can make all the difference.

So, I understand, that the badge can be restored well? As the basic elements in good quality?.

As the other guys have mentioned, the badge is good and has the "rotograving" style of numbering. This is an original but I feel it is a replacement badge for an earlier one that was lost.

The seller has priced the badge fairly for what it is.
