Humberto, the finish looks very rough like it may have been cast. Is it magnetic?

unfortunately I dont have this medal in my hands, this have being offered to me, I think that looks very rough too,it is diferent from others that I have seen

Usually the finish in this medals is better. I never had seen this rough surface in these medals, cause they were not casted. Maybe for the paint but...

I feel the same way... the texure should be very smooth... coin like. It could be a plated zinc, where the finish is bubbling off. I would have to hold this one to make my mind up on this one.
