I don't like the way that looks. The age, printing and stamp look East European to me but I might be wrong. What is this supposed to be? If it is Holocaust-related, run away, it's fake!

            Hello,

It does translate to "street(traffic) control", but it does not appear to be police related. Could be from any organization. I guess the stamp would hold the answer to whom issued it, but I cant read a thing. The cheapness of production suggests a one event type thing, but I am just guessing.

            Regards,

              Hi,<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o></o>
the translation would be ”street permission” unfortunally you can really not read a word on the stamp, but I guess something that was normally not allowed to run or be transported on the road got a special permission with this ribbon, cant see why anybody would fake a think like this so I guess its ok… <o></o>

I interpreted this armband to indicate the wearer had permission to be on the streets. I could imagine an East European faker saying this was worn by Jews who were temporarily be allowed to leave the ghetto, the camp, homes or whatever else. This armband certainly looks very used for something that was never sewn together in the back.

                  thanks for the comments.
Chris:I can't say for certain that it was not sewn as you will see from the attached it looks to off been roughly cut.
PS: Received the patches today-Very nice-thanks
                  regards
