Must say, it is amazing how all those little pieces accumulate over time and yet there is still so much more to watch for! Makes it fun and all this little things can keep it interesting when slow in other areas of police collecting. Well, next is to try and photograph the piles of paper work stashed away.

Nice little collections you have there Dave, I love the eagles what is the black on white? sports shirt maybe, not seen that combination of colour before. I am not really one for paperwork but after seeing this I might change my mind, then again I may just keep telling you about them.

Thanks George! That grouping is outstanding, especially with his armband and a picture of it in wear. Of course the Gendarmerie connection was a big plus in my book!

Gary, Uniforms are much easier to look at and enjoy! Paper work is interesting and provides a more personal touch at times but nothing like having that cloth in hand and on display. Those accessorized uniforms provide far more wow factor, especially the officer ranks with that bullion insignia! I do have a huge paper, photo and award grouping of a Schupo Major but what I wouldn't give to have his uniform!
