    RAD equipment whip??

This looks to be a RAD marked equipement or uniform whip. Are these common (assuming of course it is rad)? Are they as common as wehrmacht ones in the collector's market?

its a clothes beater, to get the mud and dust out, sometimes they are passed off as punishment whips, I paid $20 for my last one... I dont think there is much of a market, its just another bit of kit.

I like it. Nice to see one labeled as something other than a concentration camp torture device. For $20 I would jump at the chance to grab this one, that would be a bargain in my opinion.

nice whip, are you sure this one wasnt used to beat people these are fairly common but still sometimes on ebay just like everything else T.R ive seen them sell for $70-$80 range this is a item that i dont mind handling and checking out but ive never wanted one in my collection and i collect strictly RAD items! a stick for beating clothes/blankets just never was that appealing.

Thanks -- I had a wermacht one a long time ago but I never had a RAD one. I would assume the RAD would really need these as they were out working roads etc.

                Hi Chris,
Your right, they were used for uniform dirt/dust removal,I have photos with Radmen holding same in barracks. They are rare none the less to find with
markings. $20 is a steal, ive seen them at shows(two) for over $120. Jeff
