    FSP Eagle Error

    Hello,

Here is an interesting example of a relatively common pattern of FEUERSCHUTZPOLIZEI sleeve eagle. There is something different about it. Can you spot the difference?

If you guessed that it is missing a row of embroidery and acorn on the wreath you are correct. It seems that the machine operator that made this thing forgot to run that last line of embroidery.

I think this example goes to prove that these things were made one at a time, and not utilizing some "mechanized" process. I have never encountered such an "error" before. Perhaps this might be classified as a "Late Friday Afternoon" pattern .

    Regards,

      Embroidery error

      Hi Bill,

It is likely that one of the thread bobbins broke and the operator didn't catch it before the run completed. This is more common that you think. I have seen the same thing happen on US patches.
