I need help on this gas mask from the Luftschutz that I have purchased some days ago. I'd like to know if its original in all parts and if it's repainted or not. It's an AUER one and it's marked 1938 in the tin, but the filter is marked Oktober 39, as well as the mask itself. It's in a very good condition, but I don't know if it's a good purchase or not. It also has the lenses in case the original ones were broken and they're marked 1938. The filter has a paper on it as you could see in the photos of the link (use instructions maybe?). It has a 2 in the front part of the mask and the mark LK in the mask and the tin. Could it be the initials for the name of the owner?
