RAD Headgear Question?

Hello,
I picked up I few items from a WWII Veteran today. Included was this RAD cover and an unused cloth insignia. All the insignia is maker marked and there is writting inside the cover, but I can't make it out. Unfortunantly, there a few moth nips throughout the cover.

I know very little about RAD and I was wondering if someone might be able to tell me a little bit about this cover and the insignia. The flower insignia is metal and is actually sewn to the cover while the eagle is a pin. Any information would be great. Thanks

Hi, the silver eagle pin on the side of the cap is an HJ sports festival badge.

the cap is a tuchmutze (its called a Robin Hood cap by collectors)your pattern with the black pipeing was worn untill 1940,it has a hitler youth pin on one side (ive never seen that before! and a very nice sewn in gau traditions badge for arbeitsgau XXX (located in Hochland bavaria)i have a PB version of this gau traditions badge ,it is one of the rarer ones!your patch is for a RAD sports shirt.nice stuff!
