Is your disc magnetic? All Gem-Kripo discs were highly magnetic, but casting repros were not.

That is a good sign. Per Don Bible, in one of his posts, he said any police disk that is magnetic, is probably original. Don, if I misquoted you, by all means correct me.

The problem is the deplorable condition of the disk When I first looked at the disk, I thought I saw signs of casting, but the closer I looked, it appeared to be die struck.

I own two Gemeindes, and comparing them to your example, the lettering and eagle on your Gemeinde look right.

Even in its condition,Gemeindes being so rare, rarer than Gestapo disks, yours still has good value.

A magnetic Gem-Kripo Dienstmarke is an excellent sign. The only other magnetic Dienstmarken are late Gestapo discs and Reichsbahn Fahndungs Dienst discs and perhaps the Zoll discs.Yours appears ground dug with corrosion on the surface. Was it ground dug? Can you provide weight in grams and metric measurements?

I don't have this. i can buy it. before i buy i want to be sure that it is original. this brand comes from an old collector. he has 40 years in his collection. what is it worth? also like pn. I don't collect them. would sell you. Thanks & Greetings
