Question is is it legit, period example ?

Great kit !!! It was made no earlier than November 1939, when a 5 cm ribbon with embroidery was introduced. I saw crosses marked 16 in such boxes.

Thanks for the additional insight Lib13. So that would mean that the Police LS award crosses with the narrower 35mm embroidered ribbon were issued before November 1939 if the wider 5cm ribbon was introduced then?

Nice example in case, I have had one of two just like this in the wider body two piece cases.

Just doing a little quick reviewing and found that with institution of the Pol LS award January 1 1938, the ribbon was initially 3.5 cm, and was later increased to 5.0 cm in November 1939.
